Too often, men’s health does not receive the attention it deserves. Retired males, in particular, are among the least likely to engage with the health system. This Expo provides free access for men to do something proactively about their health. Such Expo’s held elsewhere have been life savers for some men, who fronted with undiagnosed health complications.
12 Health Groups will be present and available for consultations, tests, examinations etc. They represent a wide range of health providers, including; Bowel screening, Heart Foundation, NZ Blood, Stroke Foundation, Cancer Soc., Diabetes etc.
Guest Speaker: Cynric Temple-Camp, Forensic Pathologist, author of 3 books and a sought after speaker will be presenting at 10.30am.
We recommend this Expo to all men, but particularly to those who haven’t engaged with the health sector in recent years. Don’t come alone, bring a mate….attendance could be a life changing experience.
