Trees for Survival Joint project with Menzshed Manawatu and a number of local schools.
Our shed has been involved in this project which involves as partnering with local schools and the TFS group who aim to grow native seedlings to plant on unstable land to prevent erosion and improve stream flow and water quality, increase native biodiversity and offset carbon emissions.
Our shed is assembling shade houses for 5 local schools. Riverdale, Turitea, Glen Orua, Opiki, and PNINS. The schools will plant up seedlings and take care of them until they are ready.
